Snoexpress

The Snoexpress coach service provides fast and affordable coach/bus transfers from Canberra to the NSW ski fields including Perisher, Thredbo and the Jindabyne gateway. The coach online booking facility makes it even easier to book your transfers to your favorite ski field. This shuttle transfer alleviates the need for the Perisher ski tube as the coach conveniently drops passengers at the main car parks in Perisher and Smiggins. The service also runs all the way up to the Thredbo Information Centre and also Friday Flat.


Schedule

Snojet

The Snojet coach service is a combination of the Snoexpress coach and Virgin Blue flights from Brisbane to the snow and back. Flights and coach transfers can all be booked at the same time on this Snoexpress site by simply selecting Brisbane as your departure. These prices are guaranteed on a limited amount of seats which have been already held. Avoid paying credit card fees and missing out on the cheap seats by booking online.

Perisher

With over 1245 ha of skiable terrain, whether you’re a beginner or advanced skier or boarder, you’ll never get bored at Perisher. Australian owned, this NSW skifield is a popular destination with families, groups and the single traveller.

With its natural elevation and extensive snow making facilities, Perisher is the most reliable skifield. Stay at either Perisher Valley, Smiggin Holes or Jindabyne and have access to all four ski areas, all interlinked by an extensive lift system. A complimentary shuttle bus runs from Smiggins to Perisher throughout the day. To get to Blue Cow your valid lift pass will take you on the skitube (train) from Perisher Valley. There is no overnight parking in public carparks within Perisher Valley so why not look at coach transfers to get you there (some lodges do have car parking. Call our office for details). Perisher offers creche facilities from ages 6 weeks, or for children over 3 years why not enroll them in one of the popular ski school programs. These cater for children from 3 to 14 years. Programs are very popular with the kids and give peace of mind for the parents. (Programs must be prebooked).

Free daily guided mountain tours are available (conditions apply). Night skiing takes place on Tuesdays and Saturdays at an additional cost.

September is Spring Carnival time at Perisher Blue. There will be events, bands and much more entertainment.

Thredbo

Great skiing and snowboarding over 480 hectares of snow riding territory, with Australia's longest runs serviced by a fast efficient lifting system and unsurpassed snowmaking facilities. The Kosciuszko Express can whisk you from bottom to top in just 7 minutes. Thredbo Village is the cosmopolitan snow capital of Australia where you can party hard from dusk till dawn, experience memorable dining in one of twenty different cafes and restaurants and enjoy great live music. On a Saturday there is an added visual spectacular with the Flare Run and fireworks display on the Crackenback Super trail.

Getting around the village is easy with the complimentary shuttle service which operates every day. There are also 2,500 car park spaces in the village with many of the lodges offering on-site parking. The Cruiser area is dedicated to those looking for wide open tree lined trails and access to the High Noon Supertrails with up to 5.9kms of pristine corduroy to conquer. 2006 saw a $2million investment into an automated snowmaking system. This provides 2 to 3 times more snow on the ground in snowmaking areas, weather permitting.

Thredbo offers a variety of accommodation to suit all budgets ranging from lodge style to one of the biggest selections of apartments in the Australian snowfields. The Thredbo Leisure Centre has an array of equipment to satisfy any fitness freak, or you can tackle the boulder wall, shoot some hoops, play squash or indoor soccer. Jindabyne

Jindabyne is the premier off snow village located just 30 minutes drive from the ski resorts of Thredbo and Perisher Blue. Right on the shores of beautiful Lake Jindabyne, this town offers a broad range of accommodation from chalets and hotels to apartments and houses. Jindabyne offers true value for money with great nightlife, including nightclubs and live bands, value shopping centres and many restaurants to choose from.

To get to the snow from Jindabyne a 15 minute drive to the Skitube will have you a short train ride away from Perisher, Smiggins, Blue Cow and Guthega. For Thredbo keep following the Alpine Way 15 minutes right up to the village. If you are without a car in Jindabyne catch one of the shuttle services to either resort and taxis will get you around the town.
